An undiscovered Auckland retro haven

..Or depending on your point of view, a retro purgatory. Maybe brutalism is a better term, it is so unforgiving. Either way, it's an an astonishing foyer, set in an old high rise from the 1970's, near the top of Symonds street Auckland - the old Winstone building. Even better, there is a time capsule shaped like a large brass bullet...with instructions that it is to be opened in 2064. That is one opening party I wouldnt want to miss! This place totally deserves it's own fashion show. And how about that BOULDER sculpture...

Perhaps fittingly, this is where the offices to Auckland Scientology are - another reminder that you're entering another time space contuuim when you walk in the doors.
